Jetpak - (c) 2001 Ian Price iprice@supanet.com Hello and welcome to an update of that old Spectrum and C64 game, Jetpac. This game is based on "Jetpac", created by "Ultimate - Play the Game" and was very addictive in it's day and age. It looks and plays a bit pants nowadays though! Jetpak is more or less identical to Jetpac, but everything has been tweaked and enhanced - gameplay, graphics and sound (although I am not 100% happy with the sound). The object of the game is to move Jetman around the screen, collecting pieces of your crashed space ship. You can only collect one piece at a time, and only in the correct order. The piece will be dropped autamically onto the construction zone if you fly over it. Once the ship is constructed you will have to re-fuel it. Collect enough fuel then climb aboard for the ride home... Collect bonuses for extra points. Oh, yes. You'll also have to shoot and/or avoid the various aliens and objects that get in the way - isn't there always a catch...! Use the CURSOR keys to fly Jetman around the screen. [CONTROL] fires your lasers. [SPACE] pauses the game. Usual stuff up next... This software is FREEWARE and is supplied as is. You can do whatever you like with it, except use it to send viruses or other crap along with it. The game was supplied without any known viruses and should remain so. If you distribute it you must include this Read Me file and any other files within the Jetpak folder. If you don't it probably wouldn't work anyway so don't bother altering or removing any of it. Use of this software is strictly out of my control. If it mucks up your machine (highly unlikely), or causes you to lose any work or data etc. etc. then sorry, but it works fine for me, so tough!
